Mr. Samir Kapadia stands as a pivotal figure within Rockstud Capital, where he serves as a founding team member and assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer & Investment Committee Member. With an extensive career spanning over a decade in the Indian financial markets, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table. At Rockstud Capital, he collaborates closely with the Managing Partner, overseeing the comprehensive management and administration of funds.

A true architect of financial ventures, Mr. Kapadia has played a key role in establishing several SEBI registered Category II AIF - Hybrid Equity Fund, Category I AIF - Venture Capital (Angel Fund), and Portfolio Manager Services (PMS) initiatives. His strategic acumen shines through in his involvement in incubating new business ideas, crafting innovative investment products, and forging strategic partnerships with fund service providers.

In addition to his strategic contributions, Mr. Kapadia is deeply involved in crafting operational policies and procedures, ensuring the firm's adherence to industry best practices. His multifaceted role extends to spearheading capital-raising efforts, driving marketing endeavors, and shaping the firm's brand identity.

Before his tenure at Rockstud Capital LLP (formerly Fortune Interfinance Ltd), Mr. Kapadia honed his skills in equity research, where he demonstrated a knack for generating novel investment ideas and meticulously tracking the performance of proprietary investments. His journey also includes a stint at ITI Securities (now The Investment Trust of India Limited group company), where he played a pivotal role in supporting the Equity Fund Manager and Head of Research in portfolio monitoring and investment analysis.

Driven by a passion for equity investing, Mr. Kapadia's commitment to detail is unmatched. His academic credentials underscore his dedication to continuous learning, with a postgraduate degree in Securities Markets specializing in Portfolio Management from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), and a graduate degree in Commerce with a major in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management & Tax from K.C. College, Mumbai University. Mr. Kapadia has also pursued a postgraduate diploma in Securities Law from Government Law College, Mumbai University. Mr. Kapadia is CFA Level I Cleared from CFA Institute, USA, and has undertaken Capital Market certification from BSE, Derivatives & FIMMDA-Debt Market certification from NSE, and Investment Advisor Level 1 certification from NISM.

Gaurav joined Rockstud Capital in June 2018. He heads the startup investment vertical at the Fund and is responsible for the entire deal lifecycle, from sourcing, execution to closure and portfolio management. He also plays an active role in the strategic planning as well as fund raising initiatives of the Fund.

Prior to joining Rockstud Capital, Gaurav spent over 5 years in the Investment Banking space working with companies like BDO India, Acumen M&A Advisors, KGS Advisors, and Yen Capital.

He has done his MBA (Finance) from Mumbai University. He also pursued an investment banking course from The School of Investment Banking.

Gaurav is also a mentor at The VC Fellowship by HireVC which is an exclusive program designed for individuals aspiring to thrive in the dynamic realm of venture capital.

With over 12 years of experience in Capital Markets, Ritesh Bhagwati is one of the founding team member & Head of Research at Rockstud Capital LLP (here since 2014).

Ritesh is responsible to structure an exhaustive research framework for the fund to meet its end objectives. Apart from focusing at providing quality stock ideas with an objective of high margin of safety and maximizing favourable returns under Small and Midcap space, he has been instrumental in devising and implementing effective equity portfolio allocation and monitoring the same. His role extends beyond providing research ideas to tracking portfolio investments with objective to maximize the return potential on fund level and scout for opportunities alternately.

His previous endeavours include services at Maximus Securities (a part of Mafatlal Group) a domestic broking firm, Eqestar Capital (a Luxemburg based) a private equity firm and Fortune Interfinance Ltd which is now Rockstud Capital LLP) a family office turned into Alternative Asset Managers.

Ritesh holds B.Com degree from R A Podar College, Certified Financial Planner From Financial Planning State Board of India, Diploma in Business Management from Welingkars Institute, Mumbai and CFA Level 1 Cleared from CFA Institute, USA.
